FAQ

Will quality drop?

PNG, BMP, ICO, and TIFF conversions are lossless. JPG, WebP, and AVIF use high-quality encoding, so visual differences are usually minimal. You can compare original and result side by side after converting.

Is it really private?

Yes. Every conversion runs in your browser with the Canvas API. Files are never uploaded, stored on a server, or sent anywhere. Close the tab and the data is gone.

What formats are supported?

Input: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, ICO, TIFF, and RAW. Output: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, ICO, TIFF, and RAW. Pick a default for the batch or override per image.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

Yes. Drop as many images as you need, hit Convert all, then download individually or as a single ZIP archive.

Smaller files

Strip wasted bytes and re-encode efficiently so your images load faster without a visible quality drop.

Private by design

Like TinyPNG, but nothing leaves your machine. Files are compressed entirely inside your browser.

Quality preserved

PNG uses lossless optimization. JPG, WebP, and AVIF are re-encoded at 98% quality for near-identical results.

Batch compression

Drop a whole folder of assets, compress them together, and download everything in one ZIP file.

Instant results

Compression runs in your browser, so there is no upload queue and no waiting on a remote server.

Browser-based

No desktop app or plugin required. Open the page, compress your images, and download them right away.

How it works

  1. 1

Grab optimized files individually or download the full batch as a ZIP archive.

FAQ

Will quality drop?

PNG compression is lossless — pixels stay identical. JPG, WebP, and AVIF are re-encoded at 98% quality, which keeps results visually near-identical for most photos. Use Compare to check before downloading.

Is it really private?

Compression happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and we have no way to access your files.

How much can I save?

Results vary by image. Photos often shrink 40–70%. PNGs with wasted metadata can drop more. Already-optimized files may show little change — we keep the original when compression would make them larger. See optimize images for web for a full workflow.

What formats work?

PNG, JPG, WebP, and AVIF are supported. Output keeps the same format as the input file.

Drop PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, or GIF files into the box above, or click to browse.

  2. 2

    Set target pixels

Save resized images one by one, or download the entire batch as a ZIP file.

FAQ

Will quality drop?

Downscaling uses high-quality smoothing, so edges stay crisp. Upscaling can soften detail — we recommend starting from the largest source you have. Compare original and result to verify.

Is it really private?

Resizing runs on your device only. Images are never uploaded or stored on any server.

Is aspect ratio preserved?

Always. Change width or height and the other dimension updates automatically. Each image keeps its own proportions even in a batch.

Can I set different sizes per image?

Yes. Use the default size for the whole batch, then tweak width or height on individual cards when needed.

FAQ

What metadata can I see?

Camera make and model, exposure, ISO, focal length, date taken, GPS coordinates (if present), dimensions, and other EXIF/XMP fields embedded in JPEG, PNG, WebP, and TIFF files.

Is it really private?

Metadata is read locally from files on your device. Nothing is uploaded or sent to any server.

Why is some data missing?

Not every image contains EXIF. Screenshots, social-media exports, and edited files often strip metadata. PNG and WebP may only include basic fields.

Can I remove metadata?

This tool is read-only. To strip EXIF, re-encode the image with our Convert or Compress tools — that removes most embedded metadata. See also our EXIF removal guide.
